We were given a great reception by wonderful receptionists upon arrival. Esther the hostess made us feel so special during dinner on our first day as she explained the process of food service. Nyambura the waitress was so fast and efficient in looking after us and making sure we were comfortable. At the beach bar we meet a lady by the name of Dorcas and Monica who had a hearts of gold. They served us cocktails and cold beers upon request. I have traveled all over the world but that was my best experience. I will be visiting again in May. I have already recommended it to family and friends.

It's evident that the management knows how to manage! The staff in every instance was gracious, interested in service, friendliness, helpfulness. The food was fresh, not over cooked as I feared it might be. So many options to mix different ethnic foods on my plate or to create my own style of fresh, crisp and well seasoned assembly of tastes and textures. My room was beautifully appointed in a minimalist clean fashion, and the structure of the bed was a piece of art in itself. The pools, gardens and cabanas at the beach provided shaded or sunny exposure, and staff was willing to move my lounge if need be as my needs changed. There was a great opportunity to walk the pristine beaches every morning with a guide to answer questions, a uniformed guard to keep the "beach boys hawkers" at bay, and friendly vacationers. We were accompanied in a manner that left us to our own pace or pleasure, and so we could engage with our "guides" if we wanted to, or just enjoy the solitude of safe beach combing. The massage and salon was easy to schedule. I requested and received a wonderful sugar scrub and full body massage. My masseuse was brilliantly trained by the International School of massage, and provided the most amazing understanding of the art and the body. I especially loved the abundance of outdoor lounging opportunities, the food and drink services to these lounging daybeds or chaise lounges, the ease of early morning coffee and croissants to bring along on my sunrise walks on the beach. I mentioned to one guest that I considered this trip to be far superior to any cruise, as all the amenities are here, but no boarding, ports, tours. Just a pleasurable restful holiday. I am making a picture book of the resort to share with my friends and associates who wish also to travel to Kenya's Resort coast. This is the best of them all! It was hard to leave the visual delights of nature that I experienced there. What a treasure it is!

The bbq restaurant was really nice. The pools are great!

The hotel has excellent facilities that the management appear to have decided not to maximize. More than 40% of the staff are new/trainees and as simply not familiar with too many things. The kids club might as well not be there in that it never had any staff nor any activities. Our kids are 8- and there was very little to keep them occupied all through the week. The rooms were okay but it is simply annoying to charge extra for Safe. Finally the food is unimaginative with no local delicacies served. it was simply not very good.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Beautiful location

There is more than enough food available and so many choices through out the day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay and would visit again.
